Criminal justice is larger than the police department. On this episode of Next Level leaders, Dr. Joseph deals with criminal justice reform and the wrongfully accused. Special guest, Dr. William Arnold tells his story of being wrongfully accused and convicted of a 2013 crime he did not commit. After serving a seven-year prison sentence, the case was acquitted, and Mr. Arnold was released earlier this year. He shares with Dr. Joseph how he kept his faith through unsuccessful hearings and repeated denials. This episode deals with resilience, transparency and faith – all Next Level Leader characteristics.

As some of you know News Channel 5 recently aired a follow up story about Fry. The story highlighted inconsistencies in Fry’s case. The main highlight from the story was the testimony from Dr. Barbara Ziv.
Dr. Barbara Ziv was a key prosecution witness in both the Bill Cosby and Jerry Sandusky trials and recently shared her expert opinion during a court hearing on Arnold’s case, telling the judge, “I don’t think William Arnold sexually assaulted him,” Ziv told us. “I can say William Arnold’s behavior in no way, shape or form conforms to the pattern of behavior of a child molester or a pedophile.”
